Food Banking Network is organised by Feeding Africa to support individual/families, through the provision of emergency food supplies. We use the food bank system to meet and discuss with individual / family and to offer a support to help break the cycle of poverty by offering empowerment or putting people in touch with relevant agencies who will offer further support both national and international.
The Food Token is issued by our Representative in each localities within our operating area in Africa and the client take the token to the food bank centre where they will be given food supplies and placed on empowerment or help them to find other professional agencies who work in partnership with us to find a permanent solution to their crisis.
We give more than food parcel!
The food bank also supports existing agencies working with the distressed and destitute by donating food in bulk.
As part of our empowerment…Feeding Africa has put in place Entrepreneurial/Skill Training, Farming/Agricultural where they can develop interest in acquiring skills for a better living.
The food bank allows the general public to contribute and support the local well-being in a simple practical way.
